Welcome to my blog!  This blog is designed for elementary teachers (specifically first, second, and third grade) to learn about best practices to engage students in learning while meeting standards.  Each blog post will be based off a chapter in the text Supporting Students, Meeting Standards:  Best Practices for Engaged Learning in First, Second, and Third Grades by Gera Jacobs and Kathy Crowley.
